Consists of a 60 minute visit in which your therapist takes a complete health history and assesses your problem or injury. Treatment begins, focusing on the specific area of concern.
Upon completion of your consultation, your therapist will work with you to design a treatment plan specific to those needs. Future visits and home care plan may also be recommended by your therapists.

General Massage
Also referred to as Swedish Massage, this modality relieves stress and promotes relaxation. It improves circulation bringing oxygen and nutrients to body tissues, and clearing lactic acid and other metabolic wastes. General massage also relieves muscle pain and tension and increases flexibility and mobility.Your therapist will customize your massage to concentrate on your specific needs.

Orthopedic Massage
Orthopedic massage is a type of massage therapy which is focused on treating your pain....the pain caused by conditions which affect the soft tissues of the body. Your massage therapist may integrate a range of techniques to treat these conditions, ideally adapting his or her style for you, as every person's body is slightly different.
*Orthopedic massage may be recommended by a physician who wants a patient to pursue multiple treatment options. You may also see an orthopedic massage therapist independently.

Cupping Therapy
“Cupping Therapy” is an ancient form of alternative medicine in which a therapist puts special cups on your skin for a few minutes to create suction. People get it for many reasons, including to: help with pain, inflammation, blood flow, relaxation and well-being, and as a type of deep-tissue massage.

Pregnancy Massage
This massage is offered during the second and third trimesters. A pregnancy pillow is used by Lisa for as long as mom is able to comfortably use it otherwise the massage is done in a side lying position. Pregnancy massage is not only relaxing but beneficial for mom in promoting good lymph and blood flow, improving skin elasticity and helps with sleep deprivation as well as many other benefits. It is a truly great tool in promoting excellent self-care for mom during a time when her body is going through the changes during and after pregnancy.

Hot Stone Fusion
This soothing massage incorporates smoothed basalt stones and hands-on Swedish and deep tissue techniques. The heat from the stones penetrates deep into muscles stimulating circulation, reducing muscular tension and promoting a sense of calm.

Active Release Techniques
Active Release Techniques soft tissue management system is so unique it has been granted a medical patent. As an ART provider, Brian VandeMortel is trained to treat hundreds muscular and facial injuries and more than 100 types of nerve entrapments which often result in numbness and tingling. This method uses hands on treatment combined with patient motion to free areas of restriction. (ART visits are scheduled with Brian VandeMortel only)

Deep Tissue
A massage technique involving the use of slow, deep and intense massage strokes across the grain of the muscle to heal physical injuries, chronic tension and emotional stresses within the body. Deep tissue massage applies greater pressure than relaxation/Swedish massage to deeper layers of the muscle. It can be used to release trapped nerves and correct damaged muscle tissue, as well as to soften hard muscles which have caused joint restriction and structural misalignment.
